We got this truck for my son's 5th birthday and it's been a huge hit! The first one we got would not move forward, only reverse and steering worked (which is the reason for the 4-star durability rating). When I told him we had to return it to exchange it for another one - HE DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE IT UP - even though it only ran in REVERSE!!! The cool thing was that, even though it only ran in REVERSE, it ran over EVERYTHING!!! Now THAT's toy dedication! :) We did eventually return it and received another that worked just fine. Now, it's all I can do to get him away from it to recharge the battery - and as it's charging, he's asking "is it done yet?" about every 10 minutes. Btw - we purchased this item from Airsoft Joe and, even though it took awhile to arrive since they are on the other side of the country, and they handled the exchange like a champ. It was very easy to contact and deal with them and they were prompt about the turnaround.
