DK Boy's Fury Jr. Bike, 20-Inch Review

The only thing correct about the Amazon description of this bike is that has 20" tires, they are 1 3/8" x 20 "small block" racing tires to be more exact. It has an Pearl-White painted 6061 Aluminum Alloy Frame, Steel Jr Bars, 5" rise and Aluminum Alloy 140mm Cranks with 36t/16t gearing. All this stuff is a tremendous value for $200. I bought it to surprise my son for his 6th birthday. He's gonna love it.

K2 Skate Men's F.I.T. 84 Boa Inline Skates, 10 Review

I find the BOA skates to be the best of all I have had over the years. The quick release and tightening mechanism makes for painless adjustment of laces. My feet seem to breath just fine and after logging over 50 miles, I have not experienced any discomfort while blading. When taking them off, it only takes a moment to pull the knob and drop them off my feet. I got nothing bad to say about them.

The Original A Kick Scooter is back with the new Hello Kitty theme for girls. Razor and Hello Kitty co-branded A Kick Scooter. The first in an exciting new line of Hello Kitty branded Razor scooters and electric ride-on's! Includes detachable Hello Kitty coin purse on handlebars. The Razor A is a handy little ride for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the scooter will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. The Hello Kitty Razor A is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn't appropriate (it weighs around 6 pounds). And thanks to the 98mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and patented rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk.

Razor A Kick Scooter (Hello Kitty) Review

My son started kindergarten this year, half a mile away from our home. He didn't enjoy walking the distance, but the scooter solved the problem. He just LOVES scooting around the streets, and mastered the technique within a week. Now getting home is fun. The scooter moves and works great. All of the kids in NYC have them - I've even heard of a kid who mastered the skill at age 2. I was really confused when I was shopping for a scooter...I wasn't sure from reading the ads, whether this scooter was actually appropriate for a 4 year old. It's been fine. I highly recommend this scooter for kids who want to get around quickly.

Star Wars The Clone Wars AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) Vehicle Review

My son desired only this toy for his birthday, so despite the reviews which detailed the flimsiness of the legs and the poor customer service from Hasbro, we ordered this toy from Amazon (sold by Cindy's Favorite Gifts).
It arrived on schedule with Amazon Prime 2 day service. My wife and son opened it up and put it together (minimal assembly). I came home and put the batteries in (not included.)
My son has had a great time playing with this toy so far. Doors and back ramp open with a pushbutton with sounds and voices accompanying the opening process. The main "gun" and front and back mini-turrets all fire "missiles". The main gun lights up with sounds of the gun firing. No, the thing does not actually walk, rather it stands there and allows my son to put his Star Wars Clone Wars action figures in and around the vehicle and simulate a battle. A 6 year old Star Wars Clone Wars fan's dream toy!
Sure enough, within 30 minutes of putting the AT-TE walker into operation, the center legs began to come off with very little manipulation. I had already thought of ways to reinforce the legs but went online and submitted a customer service request on the Hasbro website. Despite the review which said Hasbro was not responsive, within 1 day, there was a response asking me for the date of manufacture code stamped on the vehicle. 2 or 3 days later there was another e-mail stating that a replacement set of legs were on their way to me. The legs arrived 3 days later by mail. They are manufactured differently with stronger clear plastic inner click on hubs. Fine customer service from Hasbro!
Overall, this is a fairly expensive toy for what it is, but is a lot of fun for my son and came with good customer support. I have no complaints!
