STAR WARS EXCLUSIVE ROTJ AT-AT Imperial WalkerStar Wars Return of the Jedi AT-AT Imperial All Terrain Armored Transport Exclusive Vehicle Review
Okay I am a Star Wars fan. So I had to pick this up. I wanted to get the Hoth or even the Endor edition, but they where over $220.00 USD. So I ran to ToyRUs, and they ordered it for me. It came out to $156.58 with Free Shipping to Store or Home. So I got the toy about a week later. The only complaints I have with this toy is. One it has a few stickers that need to be placed in spots nobody will see. Inside of the cockpit/head is a map. You must put three(3) stickers inside. Then the other is the 'weathered' paint on the feet. As you see in the picture on the box. He's stomping in mud. Yes that is on the toy, and it doesn't look too great. I'm sure kids wouldn't mind, but for a piece you would want to display. It kind of takes away from the toy. This AT-At Walker stands 24 1/4'' Tall, and length is 29 1/2''. It comes with a AT-At Driver with pretty descent detail. You also get a Speederbike. Unfortunately the Speederbike doesn't have a Driver. The top of the cockpit/head opens up to reveal two seats for drivers, and a few sets of pegs for additional figures to stand on/in. Near the map there is a button that has phrases. On the top of the body is two very cool details. One is a hand that comes out of the body, and you are able to control the movement of the cockpit/head. The neck being made out of a rubber outer skin. The second thing that is cool is there are three(3) buttons with more phrases, and sounds. You can open the windows/hatches on the side of the body, and even open up the doors where you can have more characters waiting for their next destination. You have another button on the inside for more phrases. You also have three wenches to lower, and higher your figures. One on each side of the Body, and one at the under belly. The rear of the AT-AT opens up in a downward motion to reveal the stowaway Speederbike. The door opening, and release of the Speederbike has more sounds. The guns on the side of the head have small projectiles to be shot out, like the old spring loaded toys. They travel maybe two feet if that. Just be careful. I can see a kid chewing on them, and choking. The projectiles 'rockets' are 4'' in length, and you only get two(2). One(1) projectile per gun. The two guns at the bottom of the cockpit/chin are very cool. They click in to place, and have small levers behind the guns to pull. You pull one lever both guns go back, and fourth making more sounds of the gun firing. The guns are casted in clear with a gray finish on the side. So the red light only shows up on the clear at the front of the barrel. As the gray surrounding the barrel light blocks it. The legs are a bit tough for a child to move, but not too difficult. If your looking for a nice size AT-AT. Pick this one up. It's bigger than most peoples dogs. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Star Wars Return of the Jedi AT-AT Imperial All Terrain Armored Transport Exclusive Vehicle" are high quality item.
