Riedell Ladies 115 Soft Boot Figure Skates Review

This is my first pair of skates I actually own. I had never tried anything nicer than the public skating rent-a-skates. Wow! What a difference! These are light, comfortable, absolutely gorgeous, very well-balanced and come sharpened and ready to go.
These skates will take you up to Basic 8, so they're not for intermediate or advanced students. These are meant for someone who is in their first year of figure skating lessons.

The sizes are pretty close to what you'll fit in shoe sizes. I wear a size 9 shoe (women's) and fit this skate's size 8.5 pretty snug. I think a good rule with Riedell skates is to buy about half a size below what you normally wear in tennis shoes. Skates have to fit snug.

Seriously, no complaints on these. Skating in these is so easy and so fun, I felt like I was flying, and trying some new things in class was a lot easier than with the school's rent-a-skates.
