I bought this sophomore year in college when learning analog. Later I found out more about digital and things like arduino. This does nothing but collect dust now. If your in the same boat and know basic information about C (loops, variables, methods) then look into arduino and save the money. If you think you like arduino buy a Teensy++ board. Its the same thing, the pin outs are just different, and a nice cardboard card comes with it to show you the arduino pins vs teensy pins. The teensy micro controller costs half as much.
