Tierra-Derco Large Covered Wooden Sandbox Review

The sandbox was a bit of a challenge to assemble because there are only pictures and the rest of the instructions are written in another language. Also, the Cover needed to be modified because it rubbed against the wood poles. Also, when lowered, it doesn't rest flush against the box, so little tiny critters can get in, but lizards don't bother us much. For the price, I was hoping for perfection, but that just doesn't seem to be the standard these days. But my baby boy loves it and I love that it keeps him shaded while he plays in it. The hubby is very handy and was able to make all modifications without complication. I'd recommend this sandbox to anyone.

Dropped a star:

The wood warped pretty badly in the weather. The side posts need complete replacement in order for the sun shade to be used as intended (rolling up and down). Not terrible, but was hoping the wood would've held up a bit better than that for the cost.
