BLADE Nano CP X RTF Review

Let's face it, if you're looking at this RTF CP heli you probably haven't tried any CP helis before. You're probably like me and looking for a good place to learn. I was "sold" this model by a Blade rep on the grounds it was a good place to start learning CP and 3D flying. I now realize he was saying that only because this thing is quite durable.
This isn't a good heli for a CP beginner... NOT with the included DX4e controller in the RTF version. I have read online about people making this heli more beginner friendly by adjusting the pitch curve and servos and expo. You can't adjust anything with the DX4e. You have normal mode (throttle is controlled with left stick), stunt mode (full throttle, left stick pitch only), and hi/lo rate (slight difference in adjustments).
This little guy is extremely twitchy. Apparently with the RTF and DX4e you have 0% expo. What that means (at least to me) is that small changes at the controls means quick and big changes on the heli. It results in extreme over-correcting for those learning the controls. If you really want to fly an indoor CP heli, you would best with buying a DX6i (or better) transmitter. That way you can really adjust the controls to a point where you feel comfortable and then slowly increase rates as you get better. With the RTF version they are just throwing you in the deep end of a pool with piranhas and you don't know how to swim yet.

For those of you with some experience, this one could be LOTS of fun. I've seen some crazy demonstrations on youtube of what this heli can do.
Keep in mind I'm rating this at 3 stars because it's a terrible package and is useful for no one. If you're not a beginner and can handle this thing well you definitely won't be needing the included transmitter. If you are a beginner with CP then you shouldn't get this because there is no adjustability or "toning down" with the included transmitter. I hope this helps.
I bought my RTF version on ebay for a good price from another person who said it was very difficult to control. Now I know why.
