I don't know why but there is no bottom to this sandbox! So we put it together and were at a loss of what to do. We had eager children standing by and some expensive safe sand, so we put it on the ground and just poured the sand in. Needless to say, grass starting growing up through the sand, bugs crawled through, and lots of dirt got into our fancy sand. We finally took all the sand out (big complicated project) bought some expensive pavers, put the sand box on top of the pavers, put the sand back in, and now it's usable. I like the top that keeps it dry, clean, and animals out, but it was such a process getting is usable. I really wish they'd made it with a bottom, or clarified ahead of time that it didn't have one. I felt like I got half the order. And since it wasn't cheap, I was really disappointed by that.
