I bought this puzzle board to go with the 2000 piece puzzle I bought. Puzzle board is a plain black board with black cloth on one side and black plastic on the other side. The puzzle pieces are grabby but slide on the board for easy placement. The puzzle board does not come with a cover (there is another one made by the same company that comes with a cover). If you are buying this as a gift for someone on the box puzzle snug is on the outside in big bold letters. The puzzle board is flat so it fits nicely under my couch for easy storage. Animal hair and puzzle dust sticks to the cloth of puzzle.
