1/24 Micro 4x4 Trail Trekker RTR: Silver Review

This little truck is a blast. My six year old son saved up for it, and recently purchased it with his own money.

PROS:

Super fun
Easy for a youngster to drive
Durable and well made
Lots of upgrade parts available for it
Pretty capable at rock crawling
Lipo ready

CONS:

The size of the controller is fine for me but big for a kiddo. My six yr old doesnt complain though.
The battery life of the stock battery is meh. Going to buy another battery so we have a spare.
The battery connectors are odd and tough for my kiddo to pull apart. Going to solder on a different type.
The body clips are tiny. Plan on buying replacements.
The battery clip is in a very awkward place. Need to fashion something better.

SUMMARY:

I personally believe in buying things that will last whenever possible. This fits that category.
