I bought this truck for my son about a year ago as the next step up from a rock crawler. It pops wheelies as advertised, and has been holding up very well. It is geared pretty low, which helps keep it manageable for novice drivers, and doesn't require alot of room to run. A typical backyard with a few ramps set up works great. The big tires act as bumpers to prevent damage during impacts. The truck is also very versatile. If you get tired of popping wheelies, you can buy the crawler conversion and go crawling. I have even seen one converted to a drift car. There are a ton of upgrades out there for it and a large online community ([...]) is a good one. Good to see the new version has a 2.4Ghz radio and waterproof electronics, which they somehow managed to do without raising the price.
