We bought this starter LBG train set for our adult son who is now a father. Our own LBG set was purchased in 1989 and has been assembled around the Christmas tree every year since. We have bought other non LBG G scale engines and cars through the years which have all broken down, but not the original LBG set which has certainly been manhandled through the years by our children. The Engine still keeps chugging away.
