received this bike to put together for my sons b-day present... packaged very well.. only minor scuffing to seat post when received. but as another review stated... the fork was so ill-manufactured that not even the front wheel would fit. it needed at least another 1/4 inch.. And mind you that this is not the first bike I have put together. E-mailed amazon, they are picking it up tomorrow, and a new one already on the way... I will write review as well when that one arrives. but be careful if you order this bike, don't wait to put it together, do it quickly as you might have manufacturing defects... I will update with another review when the "2nd" one comes in.. "fingers are crossed"

OK.... part two of the then Kent Abyss bike.... received package from UPS, the box looked...well....horrible.. I was hesitant to accept, but being only 1 day till b-day time, I chose to take it. I didn't have to unstapled the box, as it easily came apart from it's condition. and to my astonishment, the bike was perfectly intact, no scratches and just a cracked rear tail deflector easily glued back together.. Wow!! I put it together, no issues with the front fork and tire.. went on very nice. assembled this bike. This is actually a really sharp looking kids bike, this will be more than be adequate for a kids "first" bmx style bike, better buying this than a $300+ bike and they never end up using it. This bike has nice paint and graphics, and rides true. I am very happy with this purchase, but what I'm even more happy about is AMAZON Customer Service!! This bike was here one day after the other was picked up from UPS, and e-mail updates from amazon where great!!! Did a little custom work after as I took off the original grips and placed some ODI long grips on, as they are softer and have far more grip that the standard issue grips it comes with, look good too!! birthday boy was very happy!!! THANK YOU AMAZON!!
