I purchased this playset on a Sunday evening and it was sitting in my driveway on Thursday (i wasn't expecting it for another 5 days). Quick shipping!!!

After reading other reviews, I hired a professional to assemble the playset and anchor it down. The cost is hard to swallow at first, but the kids were able to enjoy the playset almost immediately. So it was money well spent. It took him 3 days and a total of about 16 hours to assemble the playset. The professional told me that it takes the average homeowner about 5 full weekends to assemble a playset of this magnitude.

The playset itself is a huge hit and is like having the park in your own backyard. The tire swing and bridge are favorites already. Lots and lots to do, even for a 3 year old and 5 year old. We love our new playset!

I was told that in order to ensure the life of this playset, that it would need to be stained in the spring and every couple of years after that. The main reason wooden playsets weaken over time is because they are always exposed to the sun. Thus unprotected wood becomes weakened by the sun over time.
